The EU has held a forum on digital economic issues this past week. The participants have been discussing antitrust laws; regulation against disinformation; taxes, 5G security, and privacy rules. It is to be hoped that digital economies are less vulnerable to huge snafus like the stranded cargo ship that has been blocking the Suez Canal for days, costing global trade untold billions. We’re looking forward to better news next week when President Biden unveils the details of his huge Infrastructure Plan. Can’t wait!
