The Group of 20 Nations Meets

Recently they agreed on a plan that would overhaul the global tax system.  If it goes through, the plan could reshape the global economy by eliminating tax havens and going after big multinational companies. But major details remain to be worked out before an October deadline to complete the agreement, and of course. big businesses and a few countries are resisting. The approach is a reversal of years of economic policies that embraced low taxes as a way for countries to attract investment and fuel growth.
