Despite just opening its first store in Soho (at the corner between Grand St. and 6^th Avenue) a few weeks ago, the shoe shop Twenty6Grand looks set to become a success. Twenty6Grand carries Italian-made women and men’s shoes. The store itself has a very artistic feel; its brick wall and welcoming atmosphere is in perfect Soho style. The owners started off by first establishing a corporation in New York and then opened the store.

The brand’s journey has just only started but the American clientele’s response has already been very positive. Their secret ingredients? Selling “Made in Italy” products, something that has always been a draw to foreign clients on the streets of New York; picking a location with a lot of foot traffic and with an attractive style; organizing events on a regular basis to establish the brand and build client loyalty; selecting the staff carefully to ensure that clients have a unique experience.
