ExportUSA provides foreign companies that intend to export to the United States with a different and more effective Temporary Export Manager service.
Typically, the Temporary Export Manager settles in with you for months and tries to contact potential counterparts by phoning or in any case working from your offices. It could not be otherwise. This type of 'hired' Export Manager service is offered by generalist export consultancies that do not specialize in a particular country and do not have offices or facilities abroad.

How the TEM service for the United States offered by ExportUSA works
Initially a the ExportUSA Export Manager works full-time, then becoming a Part Time TEM who takes care of the New York office activity
Analysis of the company situation with a view to exporting to the USA. Our Export Manager carries out a company assessment visit that typically takes two/three days. During his or her time in the company, his/her work is similar to that of a business consultant, but with a totally new perspective on exports in general and on the United States in particular:
- analysis of product, market, technology;
- analysis of logistics;
- revision of price lists, information and promotional material;
- meeting and talking to the main players in the company's export activities, from the export manager to the logistics and administration managers;
- analysis of past or current commercial export activities towards the United States.
Preparation of a business action plan for exporting and selling in the United States. The next step in the analysis is to:
- propose corrective or improvement actions for the export activities and/or procedures if necessary;
- propose activities to increase sales in the United States or to identify new business contacts in America;
- agree with the company on the objectives and activities to be implemented to export, or increase exports, to the US. This phase involves a second visit to the company for one to two days to explain the plan, hear comments and observations, and make any necessary adjustments.
Carrying out and monitoring the agreed export promotion activities in the United States. In this phase, the Temporary Export Manager appoints the New York office to carry out the necessary activities for finding new business contacts, agreeing on the phases and times of the work to be done. The work is then materially carried out by the New York office, which has the resources needed to select and contact business contacts and potential customers in the United States;
Feedback with the company
At regular intervals, the "Part Time" ExportUSA Export Manager assesses the progress of the export promotion activities carried out by the New York office with the company, also reporting on the comments received from potential customers with whom they have come into contact in America and so refining the work to be carried out.
